Michael Swanson, Owner.Michael was trained in Forestry and Resource Management at the University of Montana. After working for various nurseries in Colorado, Michael realized his creative talents would be better utilized by leading a full service, design/build landscaping company. You will come to appreciate Michael’s creative talents and his uncanny ability to create unique landscapes that integrate flowers, shrubs, trees, natural boulders, “drift-wood”, and incredible natural water features. Michael and his wife Cheryl reside in Franktown, Colorado and are also the proprietors of King’s Ranch Alpacas, which was founded in 2003. Michael enjoys singing in the Grace Chapel choir and appears to have his penchant for chocolate well under control.
Mike Bowen, Senior Project Manager.
Mike joined the company in February 2011 and provides over 17 years of experience working with Clients in Conifer, Evergreen and Denver’s mountain foothill communities. Mike’s passion is creating unique designs from natural stone that can be found right here in Colorado. His natural stonework repertoire includes outdoor fireplaces & fire pits, slab stone steps, dry stack decorative walls, custom cut stone patios & walkways. Mike’s natural stone artistic craftsmanship is on display in the portfolio section of our website.
Mike, his wife Mary Pat and their three children reside in Pine, Colorado. Mike coaches his son’s soccer team, so check out our Blog for in-season updates on Mike’s coaching career. Mike enjoys extended visits to some of Colorado’s finest quarries and running any piece of equipment that can help him create unique natural stone works of art.
John Jackson, Operations Manager.
John joined Living Stone Landscaping in January 2011. His duties include manning the office telephone, scheduling Customer site visits for Michael and Mike, preparation of Customer bids, project scheduling and Customer service. John brings 28 years of business acumen to our company and has an extensive background in business operations, project management and Customer service.
John, his wife Kim, Robert and two over-active Jack Russell Terriers reside in Centennial, Colorado. The Jackson’s have four adult children and one grandson. John’s hobbies include tennis, golf, cycling and doing anything that requires an Excel® spreadsheet.
